Valentines day, the universal day of “love”…
For many it’s a day of sadness and loathing. Spent scrolling past hundreds of photos of girls holding flowers and Tiffany and Co jewellery with the caption “Lucky girl”.
While Valentines Day is a lonely day for many, it can also be a day when you celebrate the love you have for your partner. However if you’re partner-less then who do you have to celebrate? Your girlfriends of course!
Because lets be honest, a strong bond is formed over those late night ice cream runs, hours spent watching (and crying) over The OC, long phone calls about your current flame and endless amounts of memories with your significant best friend (see what I did there).
Galentines Day traditionally falls on the 13th of February, because we’d hate to cramp any lovebird’s style on their big day.
